This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. To deliver pages and maintain secure operation, the hosting infrastructure processes technical request data, such as your IP address, the requested URL, the time of access, browser information, and the response status. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.

Cookies and analytics
The public portfolio does not set cookies or load advertising trackers or third-party social-media embeds. Fonts and images are served from this website.
On timhoefer.de, I use Umami Cloud, provided by Umami Software, Inc., to understand which pages are useful and how visitors find this portfolio. The tracker does not use cookies. Analytics includes page views, referring websites, browser and device information, and approximate location. Technical requests transmit your IP address to the provider; cookie-free does not mean that no technical data is processed.
The integration excludes URL query parameters and fragments and respects the browser's Do Not Track preference where available. I do not configure personal user IDs, session recordings, or custom events containing personal information. Preview and development builds do not include the tracker.
Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in measuring aggregate use and improving this portfolio with limited analytics. You may object by contacting me. The Hobby plan retains analytics for six months; backup retention may differ. Umami acts under its Data Processing Agreement, including applicable safeguards for international transfers. Umami is a US provider; even an EU analytics-storage region does not restrict all CDN, support, security, and operational processing to the EU. When you explicitly choose light or dark mode, the website stores that preference in your browser’s local storage under “portfolio-theme”. It remains on your device until you clear this website’s browser data. A temporary session-storage entry, “case-entry”, carries the colour of a page transition to the destination page and is removed there. Neither entry contains a visitor identifier or is used for tracking. Browser storage is used to provide these requested interface functions; the legal basis for necessary device storage is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG.
Contact by email
If you contact me by email, I process your email address and the information you provide to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a potential or existing contract, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence. Messages are deleted when they are no longer needed for the enquiry, unless statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims require longer retention.
External links
Links to services such as LinkedIn and GitHub take you to external websites. Those providers receive request data when you follow a link and process it under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
